Major (but temporary) changes are afoot at the library! Due to removal of the entire ceiling to add a sprinkler system and new lighting to the west side of the building, service desks and most staff offices will need to be relocated for eight weeks, starting on Monday, May 20. Current staff offices and service desks on the west side of the building (except the Department of Special Collections) will be inaccessible to both staff and the public during the entire eight weeks.
The library will remain open during this renovation phase, so be sure to check out the Chester Fritz Library blog to find out which resources, services, and spaces will be affected by this temporary disruption.
Don’t forget that the north entrance is closed starting today (May 13), so all visitors will need to enter via the south side of the building.
