Dr. Chih Ming Tan presented at Virtual Conference on New Approaches to Intergenerational Mobility

Dr. Chih Ming Tan recently presented is paper, “The Intergenerational Legacy of the 1959–1961 Great Chinese Famine on Children’s Cognitive,” at the virtual conference on New Approaches to Intergenerational Mobility, hosted by the Human Capital and Economic Opportunity Global Working Group (HCEO).

The conference focused on how research on intergenerational mobility has advanced rapidly in recent years and has captured much attention of policy makers and thought
leaders. The conference brought together researchers to provide a deeper analysis of the empirical findings, and related measures and concepts.
