Supersize my living space, please!

In addition to residence halls, the University of North Dakota offers apartment-style housing to freshman students.

It’s called University Place, and it’s a campus favorite. Built in 2007, the four-story U Place provides cozy living with double- or single-bedroom apartments — each with a furnished living room, full kitchen and belly-up brunch counter. (Lasagna, anyone? C’mon over!)

The brightly lit units have controlled access and are carpeted and air-conditioned. Your student also will have access to study rooms and comfortable lounge spaces.

As a premium option, U Place does have a slightly higher rate than other residence halls, and first-year students making this choice still must choose one of the all-access meal plans. A brain is not nourished by cheesy noodles alone.

For more information about University Place or other options, students can visit UND.edu/housing.
