UND’s smart restart plan

Your student will be welcomed in August to a campus that will look different than usual. What won’t change is UND’s commitment to our students.

Though the coronavirus pandemic may change how classes meet and dining centers operate, UND will always be a community which focuses on learning and discovery. We are committed to on-campus education, and are working to ensure UND is as COVID-resistant as possible. Although the risk of contracting coronavirus will not be eliminated, our goal is to reduce the possibility of transmitting the virus. We developed a three-phased transition plan to guide our campus in reopening.

“Our goal is a safe reopening, taking care of our students, faculty and staff, with particular attention on our most vulnerable on campus,” said President Armacost. “And we want to do so with a sense of community that is rooted in respect and empathy for all.”

We’re focused on safety more than ever and recently were ranked in the top tier of colleges for COVID-19 planning by College Rankings.
