Free money for school

Your student can be eligible for free money and low-interest loans to help fund their education in as little as 30 minutes with UND’s Scholarship Central and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

If your student hasn’t already done so, make sure they use their 2020 income taxes to fill out their 2022-23 FAFSA at studentaid.gov. The experts say the earlier the better. That’s because the FAFSA application is what determines your student’s eligibility for all kinds of financial aid — state, federal and institutional — including everything from grants to scholarships and low-interest loans to work study.

Don’t forget: Use UND School Code 003005 and never assume your student won’t qualify for aid. Many factors other than income come into play.

Act fast to cash in on UND’s Scholarship Central. Our one-stop-shop for more than 800 scholarships is also open! Since your student is already admitted to UND, all they need to do is fill out one easy application, and the database automatically will match them with all the scholarships for which they qualify. That’s right. Your student doesn’t have to write 800 cover letters or ask dozens of people to write nice things about them. It’s one and done!

Ensure your student applies ASAP for the best chance at free money and loans. Funding is not guaranteed after the Feb. 1 priority deadline.
