The priority deadline for students to confirm their enrollment and apply for housing is right around the corner on May 1. Remind your students to complete these steps before the deadline to stay on track for Fall 2018.
To confirm their enrollment for Fall 2018, students must pay the $200 non-refundable enrollment confirmation deposit. The $200 deposit is a down payment applied to future charges students will incur on their UND bills, like tuition and fees, and is not an additional charge.
Students must pay their deposit before taking the next steps toward becoming a UND student, including signing up for Orientation and registering for classes.
Apply for Housing
All first-year freshmen are required to live on campus for their first, full academic year or receive an approved exemption. After students have claimed their NDUS accounts, they should fill out their housing applications.
A $60 non-refundable fee is due when submitting the application. Students should apply early to increase their room selection priority. If students apply by the May 1 deadline, they’ll be included in the first round of the room selection process.
Next Step Toward UND
Once students have confirmed their enrollment and applied for housing, the next step is to register for New Student Orientation. Orientation runs from June 4 – July 12 and is designed for Fall 2018 students and their parents / guests. While at Orientation, students will register for classes with an academic advisor, connect with other UND students and visit with representatives from financial aid, housing and more.
