Those with an interest in the upcoming changes to the Essential Studies program requirements related to Intercultural Knowledge & Skills are invited to a campus-wide session on Monday, April 16. The intent is to bring members of the ES Committee and those who may be interested in validating courses for the new Intercultural Knowledge & Skills requirements together to facilitate a smooth and effective transition. Here are the key details:
- The session will occur on Monday, April 16, 3:00-4:00, in the Union’s River Valley Room.
- Information will be provided about the data we have on student learning in this area and the nature of the new course categories.
- There will be an opportunity to discuss ideas you might have with members of the Essential Studies Committee.
- The change takes effect in Fall 2020, which means the time between now and Dec 1, 2019, will be key for submitting validation requests to the ES Committee for review.
Questions about the session or about the Essential Studies Program can be directed to Ryan Zerr (firstname.lastname@example.org).
