Two critical ES Program events are set to occur in early May 2018:
1) UNDergraduate Showcase: May 3
The Showcase provides a campus-wide venue for undergraduates to present their research or scholarly work, and is expected to feature presentations by hundreds of students — making for a very exciting day’s worth of activity. To register a project, please follow this registration link or go to the main UNDergraduate Showcase webpage. In addition to encouraging students to become involved, there is a significant need for scorers to judge student projects. Staff and faculty available on May 3 for any portion of the day should contact Ryan Zerr (firstname.lastname@example.org) to volunteer as a scorer.
2) ES Assessment Week Scoring Session: May 8
The ES Assessment Week process involves a scoring session at the end of each semester at which student work is evaluated by a team of faculty and staff. No prior experience is necessary, with the event (starting at 9:00 am and ending at 1:00 pm) including the necessary training. Not only does this provide the ES Program with valuable information about its effectiveness, the scoring process itself is a valuable professional development activity. Please contact Ryan Zerr to volunteer to score. Lunch is provided as part of the session.
