Employee Suggestion Incentive Program

The 2013 Legislature passed SB 2188, increasing the amount a ND state employee can receive for making suggestions that cut costs of state government. The amount increased from $2,000 from $4,000. This program was approved by the 1993 North Dakota state Legislature, NDCC 54-06-24.

Submit your idea on the SFN 19291 Employee Suggestion Incentive program form available from your agency or the Suggestion Incentive Award Committee. The form can be found at http://www.nd.gov/eforms/Doc/sfn19291.pdf

The committee will review your suggestion. If approved, it will be forwarded to your agency administrator, who will make the final decision.

If your idea is approved, you will receive 20% of the first year’s savings realized, up to a maximum of $4,000. The cash award will be received 12 moths after your idea has been implemented.
