Projects In Design: PDC and Mechanical Operations

  • Replace the existing Chester Fritz Library heat pump loop cooling tower
  • Replace the chillers for Witmer and Leonard Hall
  • Mechanical and ventilation code related upgrades to take place in Hughes Fine Arts Center

In Progress: Crafts

  • Nursing 210-212 and 110-114 updating in progress
  • Gamble Hall 145 updating in progress
  • Many apartments, coming weekly to get to get ready for students.
  • Memorial Union Terrace cafeteria water damages to repair
  • Ryan Hall concrete in front of the East doors started June 29th
  • Nursing concrete at the west entrances will start very soon
  • University Place was concrete mud jacked the last week of June in order to lift the slab a couple of inches
  • Starcher Hall water damage taping and painting will start this week
  • Hyslop, repairing storm water issues started on June 29th

In Progress: Mechanical Operations (In House Projects)

  • Replacement of the rain leaders at the Memorial Union in design
  • The lab remodel of Leonard, room 314A, is nearly complete
  • Currently creating an active learning classroom for Gamble Hall, room 145
  • Demo has been completed and install has begun in the Nursing 1st and 2nd floor classrooms
  • Overhaul of McQuay chiller #2 at the existing School of Medicine is currently out for bid
  • Currently, the renovation of the Technology
    Accelerator, room 1500, is in progress

In Progress: PDC Capital Projects

  • Robin Hall
  • Smith Hall Fire Sprinkler System Installation
  • Core Library
  • CEC
  • New School of Medicine
  • O‚ÄôKelly Hall Renovation of classrooms on the 1st and the basement, etc

Future Projects: Electrical

  • Twamley, room 305, will have a technology upgrade
  • Airport camera installation will happen in 3 different locations
  • Campus electronic door access and camera projects to come

Commissioned or Completed:

  • Commissioning is wrapping up at the Law School Building
  • Wilkerson is beginning commissioning
  • CEC commissioning has been in progress throughout the construction process
