Center for Rural Health researchers published in leading CDC journal
An article by Collette Adamsen, PhD, director of the National Resource Center on Native American Aging (NRCNAA) and Shawnda Schroeder, PhD, assistant professor at the UND Center for Rural Health, has been selected for a special collection by the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) electronic journal Preventing Chronic Disease. The article, entitled Education, Income, and Employment and Prevalence of Chronic Disease Among American Indian/Alaska Native Elders, is one of only a few articles included in the year-end collection of Preventing Chronic Disease. Each of the articles chosen focus on eliminating health disparities and are examples of the type of research, evaluation, and/or programmatic work published and disseminated by this leading CDC journal.
Congratulations, Drs. Adamsen and Schroeder!
