Remembering Clarence Thompson

We regret to inform that longtime professor of Anatomy Clarence Thompson has passed away. Dr. Thompson was an instructor at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences from 1991 to 2010. Interested faculty/students/alumni of the SMHS are welcome to attend a memorial service to be held for Dr. Thompson at Calvary Lutheran Church in Grand Forks on April 27 at 10:30 a.m.

“Clarence was a dedicated and highly valued member of the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology’s faculty,” noted Ken Ruit, PhD, associate dean of Education and Faculty Affairs and associate professor of anatomy at the SMHS. “His commitment to quality anatomy education for undergraduate students set the standard for instructors who followed him. He is remembered fondly as an educator who conducted himself as the consummate professional.”
