Dustin Evans to give Surgery Grand Rounds on difficult abdominal wall closure techniques Oct. 18

Dustin Evans, M.D., a PGY-V resident in the UND Department of Surgery, will present a talk entitled “Difficult Abdominal Wall Closure – Techniques & Evidence” at Sanford Medical Center Broadway Fargo, N.D., from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The objectives of his talk are:

  • Identify situations that may lead to a difficult abdominal closure
  • Discuss stages of abdominal wall closure
  • Discuss different techniques of difficult abdominal wall closure
  • Discuss component separation technique
