Cecilia Benz to give Surgery Grand Rounds on thoracic oncology Nov. 15
Cecilia Benz, M.D., a PGY-V resident in the UND Department of Surgery, will present a talk entitled “Disparities in Thoracic Oncology” at Sanford Medical Center Broadway in Fargo, N.D., from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, 2019. All are welcome to attend.
The objectives of Dr. Benz’s talk are to help participants:
- Identify disparities in the treatment of thoracic cancers
- Discuss potential causes of these disparities
- Explain efforts to combat disparities in treatment of thoracic cancer
