Joseph Cox presents Psychiatry Grand Rounds on psychiatric rehab Jan. 15

Joseph Cox, Psy.D., LP, will present “Introduction to Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Skills Development” from 12:10 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, at UND’s Southeast Campus auditorium in Fargo. Dr. Cox is a licensed psychologist, consultant for psychosocial rehabilitation to the North Dakota Department of Human Services Field Services division, and owner of Visions Psychological & Therapeutic Center in Moorhead, Minn.

Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Define psychiatric rehabilitation
  • Describe the philosophy underlying psychiatric rehabilitation
  • Identify a variety of psychiatric rehabilitation services

This Grand Rounds presentation, sponsored by the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences and the School’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, is broadcast via videoconference to many sites throughout North Dakota and Minnesota and is also streamed via personal computers.
