Joclyn Seiler to give Surgery Grand Rounds on ob/gyn surgery for general surgeons Feb. 14

Joclyn Seiler, M.D., a PGY-II resident in the UND Department of Surgery, will present a talk entitled “Ob/gyn surgery for the general surgeon” at Sanford Medical Center Broadway in Fargo, N.D., from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 14. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The objectives of Dr. Seiler’s talk are to:

  • Describe the demographics of a general surgeon who will be called upon to do some OB/GYN cases
  • Describe pelvic anatomy in relationship to surgical procedures
  • Describe the steps of a Cesarean Section
  • Describe the goals of operating for ovarian torsion

This Surgery Grand Rounds Conference, sponsored by the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Department of Surgery, is broadcast via videoconference to many sites in North Dakota and Minnesota.
