Erin Follman to give Surgery Grand Rounds on pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors March 6

Erin Follman, M.D., a PGY-III resident in the UND Department of Surgery, will present a talk entitled “Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors” at Altru Health System in Grand Forks, N.D., from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020. All are welcome to attend.

The objectives of Dr. Follman’s talk are:

  • Describe the cell types in the endocrine pancreas
  • Describe the normal function of the endocrine pancreas
  • Have a basis for diagnosis of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors
  • Describe the management of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors
