Dustin Nowotny to give Surgery Grand Rounds on financial security April 10

Dustin Nowotny, D.O., a PGY-III resident in the UND Department of Surgery, will present a talk entitled “Setting up for success: Tips to prepare your financial life” at Altru Health System in Grand Forks from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, April 10. All are welcome to attend.*

The objectives of Dr. Nowotny’s talk are:

  • Describe the difficulties that physicians face with finance
  • Determine the difference between tax deferred accounts
  • Identify important insurance options
  • Explain participant options for improving their financial plan after graduation

This Surgery Grand Rounds Conference, sponsored by the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Department of Surgery, is broadcast via videoconference to many sites in North Dakota and Minnesota.
