Grace Karikari

Dr. Grace Karikari is an assistant professor in the Master of Public Health (MPH) program within the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in public health with a focus on health behavior from the Indiana University – Bloomington School of Public Health. Dr. Karikari has a diversified teaching and research background in areas such as gerontology and geriatrics education, stress prevention and management among college students, community-based participatory research, global health education, and promoting dementia-friendly institutions and communities. She will serve as the primary instructor for some MPH core courses, including grant writing and management, health care budgeting and finance, and public health leadership and interprofessional practice. Dr. Karikari is elated to join the MPH and UND families in Grand Forks.
