Evidence-based teaching: Competency and resiliency in rural and underserved practice Jan. 21

The Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship team at SMHS will present “Competence and resiliency in rural and underserved practice,” an evidence-based faculty development session, from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21.

At this interactive session, presenters Dr. David Schmitz and Michelle Montgomery will review the literature and best practices related to development of competence for practice and discuss how this is related to provider satisfaction and well-being.

This faculty development session is part of the Evidence-Based Teaching (EBT) series hosted by the Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship unit of Education Resources and the SMHS Office of Education and Faculty Affairs. This series, held every third Thursday of the month, showcases topics of interest to the medical and health education community and is free and open to anyone at UND. Previous faculty development sessions can be streamed from our website. This recording will be available within 24 hours after the event.
