Joel Erickson presents Psychiatry Grand Rounds on “sleep-eating” Feb. 17

Joel Erickson, M.D., will present “Psychiatric Disorders and Sleep-Related Eating” from 12:10 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021. This presentation will be held via Zoom/video conferencing. Dr. Erickson is sleep medicine specialist and psychiatrist at Sanford Health, Fargo, N.D., and a clinical assistant professor at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences.

Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Review the history of nocturnal eating disorders
  • Review criteria for Sleep-Related Eating disorder
  • Distinguish differences between Sleep-Related Eating disorder and Night Eating Syndrome
  • Identify psychiatric disorders associated with Sleep-Related Eating disorder
