Genomics Core presents: Single cell technology workshop and ‘hands-on’ training via Zoom March 4
The Genomics Core at the University of North Dakota is excited to offer a virtual workshop on single cell sequencing technologies on Thursday, March 4, 2021, via Zoom.
Morning and afternoon sessions will be held as follows:
10 a.m. to noon – Introduction to single cell technology with presenter Bony De Kumar, Director of UND’s Genomics Core
- Introduction to various single cell technologies.
- Data interpretation and biological inferences.
- Inference of cell lineage from single cell data.
1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Hands-on analysis Session 1 with instructor Bony De Kumar, Director of UND’s Genomics Core
2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. – Hands-on analysis Session 2 with instructor Dr. Kai Guo, Postdoctoral fellow in the Junguk Hur lab
The afternoon session will cover hands-on analysis of sequencing data. This portion of the workshop is best suited for researchers familiar with R script, but all are welcome.
Registration is available on the Genomics Core webpage at: https://med.und.edu/research/genomics-core/workshop.html.
