Montgomery to give Surgery Grand Rounds on humans’ need for connection Feb. 4

After participating in the session, providers will be able to:

  1. Decide if loneliness is a public health concern.
  2. Understand the social and evolutionary implications of the need for connection.
  3. Recognize the social power of community.
  4. Differentiate “social distancing” and “physical distancing.”
