Financial Aid / Resident Tuition

North Dakota resident tuition

  • Monday, August 26, 2019, is the last day to apply for North Dakota residency for tuition purposes for the 2019-2020 academic year. If granted, you will have to reapply for the 2020-2021 academic year (and every year after). Residents of North Dakota and their dependents may attend a North Dakota state institution of higher learning and pay a special tuition rate that is lower than the normal non-resident rate. To apply for North Dakota residency, please visit UND’s One-Stop website.
  • Important: Beginning fall 2020, all students applying for N.D. residency for tuition purposes must have a N.D. driver’s license for 12 months prior to the start of the fall 2020 semester (main campus start date).
