Aviation Department Updates – Flight Training Suspended

This evening UND President Josh Wynne directed that effective at noon tomorrow all UND employees are to work remotely until Saturday April 4. Classes had already been moved to remote instruction during this time. With this new change faculty and staff at UND will not be working on campus.

This also means that flight training will be suspended and Flight Operations will be suspended until April 4. This is a fluid and unprecedented situation. We are working on ways to keep you all updated as the situation changes. Please continue to monitor the UND Aerospace Blog: http://blogs.und.edu/jdosas-coronavirus/, the UND Blog: http://blogs.und.edu/coronavirus, and your email for updates. Remember that your UND email is your official source for UND communications. We are planning to go forward with the YouTube Live event tomorrow evening, and will update you if that changes.  Please join us: Monday March 16, 2020 at 6:00pm CSTat https://youtu.be/CxUkWZoizJQ. If you have questions you would like addressed during this YouTube Live event please email them to us at: flyund@aero.und.edu

Now is not the time to worry about your flight progress. This is a major event that will have wide-ranging impacts. Be safe. Do your part. Once we get through this we will continue on with your training and have a plan in place to deal with the issues caused by this delay.
