As a means to stay connected to the aviation industry during these challenging times, we are establishing the UND Aviation Industry Speaker Series. We are utilizing a virtual platform to bring industry speakers to you every Thursday evening. Spring has always been a very busy time on campus with numerous industry guests visiting classrooms and giving open forums, we didn’t want that to change as we transitioned to remote instruction. Now more than ever, we all need to stay connected to our industry as we are all in it together.
Our series will kick off on March 26, 2020 at 5:30pm CST with a presentation on ‘Navigating Airline Careers During Downturns and Uncertainty’. Presented by Dr. Jim Higgins, Professor of Aviation, Kent Lovelace, Chester Fritz Distinguished Professor of Aviation and Dr. Brandon Wild, Associate Professor of Aviation who are industry leading experts on pilot supply forecasting and industry trends. Join us online for an in-depth discussion of Covid-19’s impact on the airline industry and how this may impact your careers. The discussion will also be followed by a Q&A session.
Plan to join us, virtually, every Thursday evening throughout the rest of the semester to hear from industry leaders. The events will be updated on our Facebook page and through the UND Calendar.
