Joseph O’Brien, Ph.D. student in Atmospheric Sciences, has been selected to participate in the Graduate Visitor Program at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). Joe will be working on his doctoral research with Dr. Andy Heymsfield, Senior Scientist in the NCAR Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology Laboratory. This research is examining the effects of biomass burn aerosols on the development of drizzle in marine stratocumulus clouds. This study opportunity will be at NCAR in Boulder, CO, during the 2019 summer months.
