Law School To Host Distinguished “Timeout Week” Panel

The Northern Plains Indian Law Center will present a Distinguished Indian Law Speaker panel April 18, 2-4 p.m., in the Baker Courtroom, School of Law as part of the Timeout Week Celebration on the UND Campus.

The topic is “Resistance, Resilience & Reconciliation: Indigenous Environmental Justice.” Speakers are Dave Archambault, Standing Rock Tribal Chair; Dean DePountis, Standing Rock attorney; and Scott Davis, North Dakota Indian Affairs Commissioner.

The panel discussion is free and open to the public. It will be streamed live on the UND School of Law Facebook page. The panel is sponsored by the UND School of Law and the Native American Law Students Association.
