The three-day competition, a longstanding tradition, provides an opportunity for second and third-year students to gain experience in both legal writing and oral advocacy as well as working with a partner. The presentation focused on the LGBTQ+ Student Self-Advocacy Toolkit they developed for students experiencing discriminatory or bullying behavior in school. The students are joined in the photograph by law students Melissa McCabe and Lindsey Pouliot, as well as Professors Jennifer Cook and Julia Ernst, who also attended the conference in Mandan in October.
