‘Floodwall Magazine,’ a UND student-run literary journal, launches third edition May 6

UND will launch the third issue of Floodwall Magazine, a student-run literary Journal, at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 6, via Zoom.

Led by Patrick Henry, UND assistant professor of creative writing, the literary magazine features student work, edited and published by students.

The project began in 2012 with a group of graduate students, and was revived last year. It contains poetry, fiction, nonfiction, photos and digital art by UND students.

“Each issue of Floodwall represents our vibrant, creative community here at UND,” said Patrick Henry, teaching assistant professor and coordinator of creative writing in the Department of English. “The magazine provides a venue for creative expression to student writers and artists in all disciplines and programs, undergrad and grad alike. The magazine also provides student editors and volunteers with hands-on experience in publishing and editing. We’re excited to celebrate our UND writers and artists, their hard work, and their creativity at this spring’s launch event.”
