Entries sought for Women Studies essay contest

The Women Studies Program is again sponsoring a contest for the best essays that wholly or in significant part address issues of particular concern to women, women studies or gender studies.

Three prizes will be awarded — one for best undergraduate research paper, one for best creative essay, and one for best graduate research paper. Each prize is $100. Essays and papers may be of any length and may come from any discipline. They may be submitted by a faculty member or directly by the student. The essays should have been written in 2011 (spring or fall semesters) for courses at UND.

Mark entries with class title and instructor and include the student author’s phone number, home address and e-mail contact information. Please send essays in by March 1┬áto Kathleen Dixon, Women Studies, Stop 7113. Winners will be announced during spring semester 2012 at the end of April.
