State Immunization Conference set for Aug. 3, 4

The 2016 North Dakota Immunization Conference is scheduled for Aug. 3 and 4 at the Ramkota Hotel in Bismarck.  The event is sponsored by the North Dakota Department of Health and coordinated by UND Conference Services.

The conference is geared towards nurses, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, public health professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about immunizations.

Topics covered at the conference include adult immunization overview, HPV associated cancers and prevention, immunization best practices for N.D. providers, vaccine storage and handling, VFC accountability, and new developments in immunizations.

The program has been reviewed and is approved for Nursing Contact Hours through the North Dakota Board of Nursing.  The program has also been approved for AAPA Category I CME Credits by the Physician Assistant Review Panel.
