Borboa-Peterson named Director of Multicultural Programs and Services

Stacey Borboa-Peterson has been named director of Multicultural Programs & Services at the University of North Dakota. She has been serving as the interim in this position since February 2016 after former director Malika Carter left UND. Borboa-Peterson officially began as director Today, Tuesday, Aug. 16.

Borboa-Peterson has been at UND since 2006, earning a master’s in education and is currently a doctoral candidate in Educational Foundations & Research. She served as an instructional advisor for Upward Bound and a lecturer for UNIV 101: Introduction to University Life for first year students.  Most recently she served as a Student Success coordinator — a position she began in 2008 — and coordinator of First Year Success and Student Transitions.
