Faculty invited to march at Summer Commencement Friday, Aug. 5

Faculty are invited to participate in the University of North Dakota’s 2016 Summer Commencement Ceremony on Friday, Aug. 5. The ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. in the Chester Fritz Auditorium. Your participation in this important university event will provide a very strong message of support for your students and their families.

Faculty members will be quite visible during the ceremony, so full academic regalia is required. Faculty will march together and lead the processional into the auditorium, and you will be acknowledged as a group during the ceremony. On the day of Commencement, please arrive at the Chester Fritz Auditorium with your regalia no later than 2:25 p.m. For your convenience, a dressing room has been reserved so you will have a place to dress and leave your personal belongings. In this ceremony, faculty will march together and lead the processional into the auditorium.

Please contact the Office of Ceremonies & University Events at 777-2731 by Thursday, Aug. 4, to confirm your participation in the ceremony. If you have other questions about UND’s Summer Ceremony, please call 777-2731.
