This Strategic Planning Committee will meet August 25 for an initial discussion.  It is our hope that out of this meeting will come what we are calling our “conversation starter,” by which we mean a collaboratively developed rough outline of elements of a strategic plan.  We will then bring this “conversation starter” to the campus and larger community through a range of venues to get feedback and guidance for evolving the “conversation starter” into our campus’s Strategic Plan.  A website will be launched in early September.

We would like to reiterate that the planning process will be collaborative.  We want a Strategic Plan that the whole campus can enthusiastically support, one that will prove useful for creating a stronger UND with a clearer path into a brighter future.   We look forward to working with you all on it.

Sincerely,

Dana Harsell and Laurie Betting
