Sept. 29: Farewell reception honors Jane Sims

A farewell reception is set for 1 – 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, in the Memorial Union President’s Room for Jane Sims, Assistant Director for Training & Development and Senior Instructional Designer at the Center for Instructional & Learning Technologies.

Jane earned her doctorate from UND in August and has accepted a new position at the College of St. Scholastica as Director of Academic Technology and Online Learning.  She has worked for UND for 12 years, starting at Continuing Education before joining the Center for Instructional & Learning Technologies in 2009. She was recognized, recently, with a Meritorious Service award for her exceptional service to faculty, students and staff.  She will be missed in our department and throughout the campus. Her last day will be Oct. 3.
