Nov. 4: Doctoral examination for Shi Bian, Chemistry

The doctoral examination for Shi Bian, a candidate for the Ph.D. degree with a major in Chemistry, is set for 2 p.m. Nov. 4 in 240 Abbott Hall. The dissertation title is: Ring Opening Polymerization of Lactide and Synthesis of Polycarbonates by Copolymerization with Epoxide and Carbon Dioxide or Directly from Carbon Dioxide and Diols. Guodong Du (Chemistry) is the committee chair.
