Feb. 22: Starfish session on calendar/office hours

Student Academic Services, in collaboration with the Student Success Center and the College of Arts & Sciences, is pleased to present a series of sessions on Starfish, a tool to assist faculty, staff, and advisors in working with students. The second of four sessions is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 1-1:50 p.m., or Wednesday, Feb. 22, 9-9:50 a.m. in the Lecture Bowl of the Memorial Union. No registration is required. Sessions will be recorded and posted on the support site referenced above.

Session #2: Calendar/office hours

Would you like to have your students be able to schedule appointments with you online? Come to the second of four Starfish sessions to learn how the Starfish calendar can help students find when you are available and schedule appointments online. Benefits and features of the Starfish calendar and office hours will be shared as well as instructions on how to sync with your Outlook calendar to make your life easier and more convenient for students.  Also covered will be appointment notes, speednotes, and other note features that will be helpful when visiting with students and viewing other student interactions on campus to help create a holistic experience for the student!

Please bring a laptop or iPad as we will be doing some hands-on work.
