To March 30: Tunnel of Oppression

Out of  Your Comfort Zone, and Into the Tunnel: What It Feels Like To Be Me: Attend the Tunnel of Oppression March 28 and 29 from 5 to 9 p.m. and March 30, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Johnstone-Fulton Hall lower level.

This year, the UND Women’s Center led a collaborative effort to offer the Tunnel of Oppression. Aligned with our goals to advocate, collaborate, educate, and empower, the Tunnel of Oppression engages participants in an immersive experience of scenes highlighting various forms of oppression. Led by a tour guide, those who participate will go through rooms in the Johnstone-Fulton-Smith tunnel. Participants can expect to watch video clips, engage in immersive demonstrations, and observe live performances tailored to the room’s form of oppression being emphasized.
