March 30, 31: N.D. State Science and Engineering Fair
The North Dakota State Science and Engineering Fair is set for Thursday and Friday, March 30 and 31.
The schedule follows.
Thursday, March 30
- 8 – 11 a.m, Registration and Setup, Memorial Student Union Ballroom
- 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., Lunch on your own
- 1 – 3:30 p.m., Hands-on activities (Nursing & Medicine, Math, Physics, Engineering, Geography, Biology & Chemistry, Aerospace-Space Studies & Aerospace-Computer Science)
- 4 p.m., Drop off students at Memorial Student Union Ballroom
- 5 – 6:30 p.m., Banquet at new School of Medicine & Health Sciences building. President Kennedy is the keynote speaker.
Friday, March 31
- 8 a.m., Judges Report/Breakfast, Memorial Student Union River Valley Room
- 8:30 a.m., Judging Meeting, Memorial Student Union Lecture Bowl Room
- 9 a.m., Judging begins
- 9 a.m., Teachers Meeting, Memorial Student Union Badlands Room
- noon – 1 p.m., Students Lunch, Memorial Student Union Room Loading Dock; Judges Lunch, Memorial Student Union River Valley Room
- 12:45 p.m., Judges Meeting, Memorial Student Union Lecture Bowl
- 1 p.m., Judging Resumes
- 2 – 4:30 p.m., Open to the public
- 4:30 p.m., Takedown and setup for Awards Ceremony, Memorial Student Union Ballroom
- 5:30 p.m., Awards Ceremony, Memorial Student Union Ballroom
- After awards, meeting with Peter Sykora, Memorial Student Union Ballroom
