May 20: Swim clinic features Olympians Anthony Ervin and Kathleen Hersey
The Red River Valley Wahoos will sponsor a BREAKout! swim clinic May 20 at Hyslop Pool featuring Olympians Kathleen Hersey and Anthony Ervin. There will be two sessions: 10 and under from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m., and age 11 and over from 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A total-person approach to swimming, a BREAKout! Swim Clinic can help you break bad habits, build new skills and uncover hidden talent.
Every participant:
- Learns champion performance techniques on all four strokes (in-water and dry-land)
- Understands how the body, mind and heart affect swimming
- Trains with the world’s top swimmers
- Asks questions, gets an autograph and photo
- Receives a breakout! T-shirt, poster, DVDs and other souvenirs
Participant fee is $85. You will not need swim equipment. Please bring a water bottle and small snack along with your towel, cap, suit and goggles.
