Ranganathan receives unmanned system research grant

Prakash Ranganathan, assistant professor of electrical engineering, has been selected to receive a Rockwell Collins research grant. The proposal, “Geo-Fence Detection System (GFDS) for Unmanned Aerial Vehicular Airspace to provide Counter Autonomy,” was funded for $25,000.

Of the 45 proposals submitted, just 15 projects were chosen.
