College of Business and Public Administration re-accredited

The College of Business & Public Administration (UND CoBPA) has been re-accredited by AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)—ranking the College in the top 5 percent of business schools in the world.

An endorsement of the UND CoBPA by AACSB International means the College has highly qualified faculty, as well as demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement and keeping curriculum responsive to meet the needs of business.

In 1926, the UND CoBPA became the first business school to be accredited by AACSB International in the State of North Dakota. Today, some 789 business schools in 53 counties and territories earned AACSB accreditation.

Through its accreditation standards and processes, AACSB recognizes institutions that uphold its mission and core values, work to advance the interests of global management education, and participate in AACSB’s community of leading business schools.

Business school accreditation is an important element when choosing an undergraduate, maters, MBA or doctorate program at a University. AACSB- accredited business schools are committed to high-quality curriculum, faculty, research, innovation and engagement.

“An awful lot of hard work goes into ensuring we provide a first-class student experience and meet the highest standards of global business education,” said Steve Light, the College’s Interim Dean. “The entire CoBPA community contributes to our success, and we’re committed to the excellence that AACSB accreditation represents.”
