Vice President for University Relations position has been posted

The position for the Vice President for University Relations was posted on June 20 and will remain open until filled.

The Vice President for University Relations will establish strategic directions, priorities and goals for the overall University Relations division and for each office within the division, assuring alignment with the overall One UND Strategic Plan.

The Vice President along with President Kennedy will evaluate the needs and possible restructuring of this division. The Vice President will be responsible for leading a transparent and forward-looking budget process. The Vice President will drive a process that provides clear outcomes for expenditures and evaluates achievements in the context of an environment in which cost effectiveness, collaboration and strategic use of resources is important. The Vice President will oversee and be responsible for the following functions currently organized as: marketing and creative services; video production; community relations; public relations; governmental affairs, internal and external communication; media and crisis communications; and ceremonies and university events.
