Dean search launched for College of Business and Public Administration

Thomas DiLorenzo, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, has named a committee to search for the next Dean of the College of Business and Public Administration.

The search committee will be chaired by Cindy Juntunen, Dean of the College of Education and Human Development. The list of membership for the search committee follows:

  2. Katherine Campbell, Professor and Chair, Accountancy
  3. Jennifer Stoner, Assistant Professor, Marketing
  4. Patrick Schultz, Professor, Management
  5. Paul Sum, Professor, Political Science and Public Administration
  6. Chih Ming Tan, Professor and Page Endowed Chair in Applied Economics
  7. Linda Pancratz, UND Alumni and UNDAAF Emeritus Board member and Capital  Campaign Co-Chair
  8. Kim Woods, Director of Development, College of Business and Public Administration
  9. Michelle Garske – Assistant Director of Graduate Programs/Accreditation Coordinator, College of Business and Public Administration
  10. Tammy Peterson, GF Region President of Bremer Bank and  GF Economic Development Board Member
  11. Erik Hanson – UND Student Body Vice President

The next dean will fulfill a vital role to the College of Business and Public Administration, but also to the reputation the University of North Dakota.

“The future of our College of Business and Public Administration has tremendous promise,” said President Mark Kennedy, “The College exemplifies the innovative nature of the University of North Dakota, providing students with a 21st century education that prepares them to be tomorrow’s leaders in business. It is our goal to have a Dean that will personify the tremendous outlook that this College possesses.”

This search will be conducted over the coming months and the university will seek to attract the highest possible quality of applicants. In order for this to occur, the University of North Dakota will be engaging with a search firm to assist with the search process. UND is establishing a tentative date of March 1, 2018 for the process to be completed and the selection of the new dean to occur.
