University Senate elects leadership

University Senate has elected its 2017-18 leadership.

Paul Todhunter (Geography) was elected the 2017-18 Vice Chair/Chair Elect of the University Senate at that body’s Sept. 7 meeting.  Nancy Vogeltanz-Holm (School of Medicine & Health Sciences) is the 2017-18 University Senate Chair.

Mark Jendrysik (College of Business & Public Administration) was elected to a two-year term as faculty representative on the Senate Executive Committee. Amber Flynn (Wellness Center) was elected to a one-year term as Staff Senate representative and Cole Bachmeier (Student Body President) was elected to a one-year term as student representative on the Senate Executive Committee.

The Senate Executive Committee, which establishes the agenda for meetings of the University Senate and acts in the Senate’s place when necessary between Senate meetings, also includes Senate Chair, Nancy Vogeltanz-Holm; Senate Vice Chair/Chair Elect, Paul Todhunter; Senate immediate past chair, Dana Harsell; Faculty Representative Jeremiah Neubert; Senate Secretary, Scott Correll; Council of College Faculties representative, Anne Christopherson; and Provost Tom DiLorenzo.
