Oct. 10: Faculty and professional academic advisor information session

As we approach the time in the semester when students are seeking advisement for spring 2018, all interested individuals are invited to the fall semester faculty and professional academic advisor information session. The session is set for Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2 to 3:15 p.m. in the Memorial Union Lecture Bowl.

Presenters include:

  • Matt Lukach and Kathy Freeman, One-Stop Student Services, regarding pertinent information from One-Stop as academic advisors prepare for the uptick in advising for spring 2018. This includes an update on the services One-Stop provides to students.
  • Ryan Zerr, Essential Studies, regarding information and updates to the Essential Studies program.
  • Christina Fargo, Registrar’s Office, with information on Transferology from the student perspective and the revival of Transfer Evaluation System (TES) for academic advisors.
  • Lindsay Kuntz, Student Success Center, sharing briefly on the Academic Advisor Resources organization in Blackboard.

Please know this session is open to all of those interested in attending and learning more on the above topics.
