Faculty and administrators encouraged to participate in Dec. 14, 15 Winter Commencement ceremonies
Faculty and administrators are encouraged to participate in Winter Commencement ceremonies Thursday, Dec. 14, and Friday, Dec. 15. There will be a separate ceremony for graduate and professional degrees on Thursday and two other ceremonies on Friday for students receiving undergraduate degrees. All ceremonies will be held in the Chester Fritz Auditorium.
- Thursday, Dec. 14, at 3 p.m.: Graduate and Professional Degrees ceremony
- Friday, Dec. 15, at 1 p.m.: Undergraduate Degree ceremony to include Arts and Sciences, Engineering and Mines, Medicine and Health Sciences, and Nursing and Professional Disciplines
- Friday, Dec. 15, at 4 p.m.: Undergraduate Degree ceremony to include Aerospace Sciences, Business and Public Administration, and Education and Human Development
Faculty members and administrators should wear academic regalia in all ceremonies. If you have questions about renting regalia, please contact Lisa Unkenholz at the University Bookstore by calling 777-4980 or 1120gm@foellett.com. The deadline for faculty regalia rental is Nov. 20.
Faculty and administrators can report to the lower level of the auditorium to use the dressing room to don regalia. A University marshal and staff volunteer will be on hand to direct faculty to the line-up area. All faculty and administrators for all ceremonies should line up in the rehearsal room located on the lower level of the Auditorium 30 minutes before the ceremony.
