Nov. 20: Korus Seminar Series focuses on genome association and education attainment

The Department of Economics & Finance is pleased to host a seminar in the Korus Seminar Series with David Cesarini of the Department of Economics & Center for Experimental Social Science at New York University. He will present “Genome-wide Association Study Identifies 74 Loci Associated with Education Attainment” at noon Monday, Nov. 20, in 283 Gamble Hall.

Professor Cesarini works in several areas, including health economics, labor economics, economics and psychology, and social-science genetics. Since he received his Ph.D. in Economics from the M.I.T in 2010, Prof. Cesarini has published his work in a long list of prestigious journals, including Science, Nature, American Economic Review, and American Journal of Political Science.
