To Jan. 22: Fire Hall Theatre lists events

Following are events at the Fire Hall Theatre.

Jan. 6, 7:30 p.m. – Get a peek at a brand new musical, written by Frank J. Sikich, a Grand Forks resident and long-time actor on the Fire Hall stage.  His musical, Still Holding On, has been in development for 10 years, and those in the area will be the first to hear it.  The workshop performance is free, but a $10 donation is suggested to off set expenses. Location:   Fire Hall Theatre – 412 N 2nd Ave. (cleverly hidden behind City Hall, just north of Central H.S.)

Jan. 6 and 27, 11 a.m. – Free puppet show at Grand Cities Mall.  Short puppet show, perfect for young children.  Come hear all about Jacques & Coyote’s New Year’s resolutions.

Jan. 15, 1- 5 p.m. – Play Day at the Fire Hall Theatre.  GF Public schools will be out of session, but Fire Hall will be open for children in grades 1-8 to create a “play in a day.”  Register at www.ggfct.com .

Jan. 21 and 22, 7 p.m. – Auditions for Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None, performances are March 15 – 31 at the Fire Hall Theatre. No preparation required for auditions.  The directors, Dave and Kirsten Dauphinais, would like to hear British accents, but this is not essential. Location:  Fire Hall Theater – 412 N 2nd Ave. (cleverly hidden behind City Hall, just north of Central H.S.)
